Ristorante Da Maria was founded in 1920, when Maria began cooking for the first tourists, setting up a few tables in the cellar, which today has become the restaurant itself. Since then, our family has passed down with love the authentic flavors of Ischia, offering simple and genuine dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

How to Reach Us

🚤 By Sea (The Easiest and Most Scenic Option)
From Ischia Ponte, take the Cassano Barche water taxi departing from Piazzale delle Alghe. In just a few minutes, you’ll arrive directly at our beach.

🚶 By Land
By taxi: Ask to be dropped off at Strada Vecchia di Cartaromana, then walk 200 meters down a charming stone staircase that offers beautiful panoramic views.
By bus: From Ischia Porto, take bus line C12 or C13 and get off at the Cartaromana stop (near the cemetery), then walk 800 meters to the restaurant.
